Vintage Design
Unique & rare find. This early edition Congo Easy Chairs were produced by Artifort in the 1940s/1950. A fantastic design by Theo Ruth and Julian Marschall. Beautiful due to its simplicity. Theo Ruth was a pioneer in the field of design at Artifort. He made special designs such as the Congo Chair and the Penguin Chair. With this design he was inspired by a chair from Africa and the seat also has its name to it. The seat consists of a wooden frame where 2 loose parts crochet together and both can be disconnected. Due to the minimalist design absolutely a design classic that will continue to keep its value. Completely updated in a luxury bouclé upholstery. Absolute top design from Dutch soil & an eye-catcher in your interior! Stay Classy with this special set.
