Vintage pair of brass George Washington Andirons, likely mid 20th century, cast brass shallow full length figure of George Washington standing atop a plinth with drape and star. I do not think these are antique, but could possibly be Centennial pieces.
The brass is in great condition with wonderful patina. The replaced iron log dogs were for some reason made without the downturn (they are not broken) so that the andirons sits angled back… for better viewing on the hearth? They could easily be replaced with standard log holders.
