We have never seen this model of bentwood magazine rack and we cannot find this Viennese design anywhere else in the world. There are no makers marks, but this rare piece must have been manufactured by either the Thonet brothers or by Jakob and Josef Kohn. From what we have seen over the years and the books that are available to us, we feel that it is most likely that Gustav Siegel designed this Viennese magazine Stand. This rare example is in a used, but good condition. One of the legs is slightly curved outward at the bottom (see image 9), but this stand is a stable as the day it was made. Mind you, our fair price even includes perfect packing and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in 4 days.
Maximum height x width x depth: 38.6 x 19.7 x 15.1 inches.
We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again).
