Vintage Design
An unusual apprentice piece, so we learnt, Dutch 1950s. The chair has an arts and crafts feel to it due to the carving of the owl but an expert in early twentieth furniture has dated it post war and dates it to the 50s. The chair is an apprentice piece and therefore a one off. The chair is remarkably light in weight and is a mixture of wood with a separate leather woven leather seat. The chair is in excellent condition and the leather is in great condition too with only some minor discoloration due to a few small drops. The seat is at 41 cm.
