Chinese Showcase Cabinet, 1890s

Small display case (two-body), decorated with carved and gilded foliage on red lacquer, the back of the upper part, illuminated, is hand-painted with lotus flowers. China, early 20th century. Provenance: claude de marteau collection. H 160 cm x d 42.5 cm x w 102 cm. Useful display cabinet 21 cm. Usable cabinet 34 cm. A small loss on the top of the display case, normal wear (see photo).
