This magnificent eight day movement shelf clock has an arched and inlaid pediment over a painted dial that is signed “Aaron Willard, Boston,” fancifully painted within cartouche with laurel wreath and swag. Features include a cream painted tin dial with gilt highlights, brass movement within a figured mahogany case with original finish, lower section with string inlay, supported by on ogee bracket feet. Brass finial atop. Measurement is to top of finial 34.5 inches.
