Interesting fact: The owner of the Colonial style home was a childhood friend of President Harry Truman. Harry and Bess Truman would visit his childhood friend at the estate in Coral Gables. He may have admired these andirons in the fireplace or on a occasion admired them when they burned a fire in Florida!
