A striking breakfront sideboard from the Boston area with handsome maple cross banding around each drawer and cabinet and tiger maple inlay panels set into each stile. The top drawer is further embellished with tiger maple surrounding a flame birch oval. Two separate tall narrow bottle drawers are found flanking the central drawers. Hardware is large and good looking brass repoussé with ring pulls. Ca. 1820. Good antique condition with signs of age, some dark marks, stable separation to right front cabinet face. Provenance private collection, prior to that, Daniel Stein Antiques, San Francisco, CA.
