Vintage Design
Secretaire antique French Napoleon III with white marble statuary top. The front is characterized in the upper part by a drawer under which opens a hinged door with a series of drawers and compartments. The lower part is characterized by four drawers also finely inlaid with floral motifs adorned with gilded bronze finishes. Two important columns with a finely chiseled gilded bronze element at the base end with two Corinthian order capitals in gilded bronze. The two original keys of the period are present. Provenance: France (1860/70) Measures: 76 x43 H138cm. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
