Vintage Design
An Empire Revival mahogany and parcel gilt cylinder bureau, Circa 1880 in date. The panelled roll top enclosing a green inset leather writing surface and an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes, above single frieze drawer. It is stands on figural pilaster supports, united by a shaped undertier and raised on lion’s paw feet. The desk is freestanding and is beautifully finished all round. It is an absolute masterpiece which is sure to get a lot of attention wherever it is placed. Complete with original working lock and key. The item is not CITES pursuant. Condition: In excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned polished and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
